During these uncertain times, we all struggle with appropriate and significant ways to help our community.

 

One of our members, Sandra Jones Mitchell, of SOACT, has come up with a unique way to help one of our most vulnerable groups, senior citizens.

Face masks have become a necessity to control the spread of the Coronavirus. However many people can not find or afford the masks they need. So Sandra has decided to provide masks for our local Senior Citizens.

 

Marcia Martin from Corinthian Baptist Church has volunteered to make the masks at the cost of $5.50 each. Their goal is to make 300 masks.

This special project has been completed with over 350 masks donated to senior citizens.
